1/48 Mirage 2000C (Kinetic)

Post by josepedro »

Hello!

Here are some photos of one of my latest projects.

This project was published on this month issue (July 2014) of Airfix Model World mag.

It`s the Kinetic kit, together with Syhart decals, in order to portray this specific airframe.
The wing root angle was altered in order to depict the characteristic anhedral look of the Mirage 2000 family.
I used both Lifecolor and Vallejo acrylic paints.

Here http://josepiresmodelismo.blogspot.pt/ you can find detailed pics of the construction and painting process.

My best regards!

Nice one José Pedro ! Parabens !

Another great build , Although I'm still a WWII Plane addict, also like to see the 'modern' age jets , I was looking to build a Mirage III C (not so modern :-)) , think Eduard has one , would like to build an aluminium version from French Armee de L'air , must see If I get some Decals for it .

Congratulations for the build and for the nice article . :th:
Cheers ,
António

Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Although with some challenges (easy to overcome) this kit provides a heap of fun!

That is amazing. It's one of the prettiest planes ever designed and your model work just floors me. I want to clap and cry at the same time. Something to aspire to for sure.
