This kit comes with two 1-piece barrels. I assume one is meant for the G2 2-piece barrel but it's included as it's on the sprue:

This kit is on my wishlist, and has become pretty hard to find for reasonable money. Can't wait to see it come together.

Is this a tank for old retired soldiers? Hence the reason they included the Zimmer-it-frame?!

Wheels are done:

Along with the suspension and hull:

I needed a break from sanding wheels so I put the Alpine figure together. A quality piece, it fell together in a couple of minutes. There will be more Alpine figures in my future:

So, still working through the hull tools and attachments:

Image

That's the early one-piece barrel BTW.

This Jagdpanther's seen plenty of fighting, and has managed to bounce to incoming rounds:

Image

The Zimmerit was removed with a Dremel.

Image

Hopefully the driver had a change of underwear nearby. Pesky Shermans...

Fenders were damaged as well:

Thanks. I use tamiya paint and baking soda for the thick mud.

But the helmet has Master Sergeant (IIRC) stripes and is on a goat.

Patton was much more of a Jackass.
