My name is Gavin, I'm from Cotgrave, Nottingham, England. I'm 32, and I am sort of new to scale model building!
I've been a wargamer on and off for about 15 years, (currently in an off period) and have made a lot of gaming models, but I've never built a scale model before. I've been interested in getting into scale modelling for a while, and discovered the ISM YouTube channel, which lead me to this forum.
We (me, partner and daughter) have recently moved, so a lot of my time has been spent doing DIY. But when not being bossed around by the women in my life I have been looking for things to do.
So a while ago, 6-8 months ago, (before the move) I bought a Dragon 1:35 Stug III Dec1943 Model, and a Tamiya 1:24 Nissan 350z model to build. I bought some after market bits to try as well. I've finally got some time on my hands and I've plucked up the courage to have a go at them.

but hopefully I can improve. Any help or advice you can share would be superb! I look forward to hopefully sharing my slowly improving exploits! Cheers!
