Rivet Maker Recommendations Needed

Post by TechHead »

Hi Gang,

I have lost some of my rivet details after sanding my 1/72 Hawker Typhoon so have decided it is about time that I invested in a rivet maker. I have done some research and see that the Trumpeter Rivet Maker is widely available though can anyone please tell me if it's actually any good or is there a better option out there? I would ideally like a rivet maker that covers most popular scales.

I don't mind spending a bit more to buy the right tool for the job, as I'm trying to take the approach to my modelling tools of buy once, buy right....

Thanks in advance,

Simon :)

Thanks for your replay chaps. I think I'll be going with the Trumpeter model. :)

The trumpy one isn't all that good to be honest, I've just got both those mdc ones and while I had to drill the holes in the handle larger they do work very well.
