Airfix 1/48 De Havilland Mosquito PR.XVI "In-Box-Review"

Post by UKguyInUSA »

Hello Guys,

I just did an "In-Box-Review" of the Airfix 1/48 De Havilland PR.XVI 70th Anniversary D-Day Edition that was a gift from an old Engineering friend when I went home to the UK last month for my sister's funeral.

Overall, this looks like a pretty decent kit that comes with unexpected extra sprues and pieces that allows you to make all versions of the Mosquito, although that is not advertised with the kit by illustrating that on the box or in the instructions. There are rockets, bombs, drop-tanks, two sets of fuselage and wings, three canopies and alternative instrument panels!

Thanks for watching in advance :)

Cheers, :cheers2:
