Bucket 1/35 scale made from a beer can!

Hi guys,

During my Coen Tiger build, I made a bucket from paper.
Peppie suggested I make one from a beer can. So I did.

And this is the result:

I found it to high, so I cut of a piece.

Acrylics:

Oil paint:

There you go.
It's in the bucket!

maybe i need to drink more beer......very nice bit of scratch building

Very cool!

What is your painting method for your buckets?They look spot on and I need to paint a few my self.

I start of with blue grey acrylics.
Than thin white oil paint and thin black and brown.
That's it.

Fantastic as always Han, well done mate..

Quick question, what are you using to join the bucket side and to its bottom?? CA glue? Solder?
Only asking as a smooth shiny metal surface is a PITA to join and easily breaks if handled to much.
Your pictures don't show the joined side?

I tried a solder version. that didn't really work out.
So I tried CA glue. That worked out fine. I did handle with care though.
