Italeri Desert Tiger

Post by Russ72 »

Tiger I Tank SIG - In honour of Coen. Done. Big thank-you to Devon and James for throwing this build and to Lee and Paul for providing the venue, and of course Coen, for being the Inspirational Styrene Guru that he is. Pretty happy with how this all turned out, as it went through a couple of evolutions before it became the final .......thing. I apologize in advance for the amount of photos.

Well there it is. It could do with some stowage and other small detail to look at, helmets hanging off the smoke dischargers, or water bottles, a jerry can or two about the place. But what a ya gonna do. :) Something for next time.

Thanks for Looking. :cheers2:

Thanks Mate, downloaded the PDF version of your weathering guide so I didn't have to use my crappy memory and watched your Dio guide, two valuable resources. The photography was pure luck. :cheers2:

Russ, that is truly spectacular, awesome job!  : :

When I first looked at your pics, I thought, that's freaking brilliant, all of it. Then I looked again and thought, the figures are my favourite bit; then I looked again, nope, the Tiger is definitely my favourite bit. After another look, I decided that the base was my favourite bit - then it dawned on me - it's all my favourite bit!!! :jd: :jd: :cheers2: :cheers2:
