Zero

Hi folks.

I've gone for a Zero for my build:



Assembly was trivial:



For the paint job, I thought I'd try something new and go for a cracked eggshell instead of the usual chipping associated with Zeros.

I put a layer of Vallejo crackle medium over a base coat of silver:



and then the base colours that should crackle once dry...



I've left it a couple of hours to crackle and can't see much happening

I've got a plan B if the crackle doesn't take...

Now that was fast Rich my kit haven't even arrive yet lol

Crackling didn't take. Ah well, these are fun builds and I like to experiment.

That effect still looks pretty cool...kind of a well used but still in good condition weathered appearance
