Hi folks.

I've gone for a Zero for my build:

Assembly was trivial:

For the paint job, I thought I'd try something new and go for a cracked eggshell instead of the usual chipping associated with Zeros.

I put a layer of Vallejo crackle medium over a base coat of silver:

and then the base colours that should crackle once dry...

I've left it a couple of hours to crackle and can't see much happening :scratch::

I've got a plan B if the crackle doesn't take...

Never heard of crakle medium :scratch::

That effect still looks pretty cool...kind of a well used but still in good condition weathered appearance
