Ultimate airbrush cleaner
Okay, I think I know the answer to this but, still, I need to hear from the head honchos here. I've been reading some comments in other forums about the Ultimate airbrush cleaner being nothing more than repackaged screen wash. I'm sure this isn't accurate but being that I've read that more than once I just need some confirmation. I've purchased a few bottles of the Ultimate cleaners but I haven't tried them yet (nor have I ever tried screen wash, for that matter). As far as I'm concern, there'd be nothing wrong if it were like screen wash. I just wanted to confirm.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Rob

Re: Ultimate airbrush cleaner
I don't know, or care, what's in it, but I know it works better than other stuff I've tried. That's good enough for me!
Afterthought: maybe you could tell us what the forums are, so Ultimate can answer those statements?

As a matter of interest, could I ask what forums please? Any links to the threads?

Holy crap! I wish these haters would just got all get cats and worry about real this like the life span of squirrels and are hats real.
All you have to do is open the damned bottle and you know right away it's not screen wash.
Freaking trolls.
Not you Gallileo.

Re: Ultimate airbrush cleaner
A couple of the comments I've read were from Flory but I did also find a couple of similar comments on Modeling Madness. I don't think I can link to the ones on Flory but I could try to find the one on MM.
Like I said, I think I knew the answer already. I just wanted to confirm. It matters not to me if your stuff is screen wash or whatever. If it works as advertised, then that's all I care about.
I'm definitely observing some friction between ISM/Ultimate and some of the Flory guys. Don't know why and really don't care. The products are what I'm interested in. You know, like your Ultimate sanders. I found that they are way better than Flory's. I'm sure the Ultimate cleaner will be just as good.

Yep were not liked by a few flory members, we often hear of them slating our products and when asked if they've used them they say no, how can you say something is no good if you haven't tried them yourself.
We hear about these rumours all the time, pretty sad really and pathetic.
At least our forum and videos are free

As Coen says, you've just got to smell it!
If that was screenwash, screenwash would be flying of the shelves of Maplins like hotcakes! Or, should I say hot toddies.

Re: Ultimate airbrush cleaner

Screen wash is Car windshield washer fluid...
Not Windoleen or Windex....
and yes it is flammable !
this is only posted to complement the previous post with a comparable picture...
Not to feed the rumors !
Which I couldn't care less about...
IF The Ultimate guys say... its not screen-wash; then its not !
good enough for me !

Re: Ultimate airbrush cleaner
Sounds to me like the competition might be feeling a little bit of pressure from the new kids (Ultimate).I can't vouch for the airbrush cleaner but I have both Flory and Ultimate sanders and to be fair they both sand the same but the Ultimate sanders last a LOT longer than the Flory ones, which equals more dollars for other modeling goodies! so I am sold on them.
