Re: My Mosquito Build By Wesley!
Looking forward to your build mate, but what's a hangout and where are you doing this? does it involve a secret handshake or dressing up in strange costumes like a comicon event etc?

Build Update!!
been moving along on this build and loving this kit so far, bought the eduard etch set for the cockpit and the masking set for the canopy. got all the cockpit and everything painted and fuselage half's together and glued, just finished the wings and engines and starting to look good now, really nice kit and a decent size

parts all primed

interior and cockpit painted in mig olive drab light base, i did try using lifecolor interior green and just would not go right so just used the mig paint instead

Eduard cockpit set on the dashboard, looks really nice

cockpit and interior all together with the PE seat belts

And finally two halves together with the cockpit in and the wings glued together and just test fitted

Underside

and thats all my progress for the past few days, really like this kit and cant wait to start doing the camo pattern on it

Build Update!!!
Well i decided to change the mossie a bit, i decided i didn't want my bomb bay doors open so decided to have them closed for that sleek streamline look lol, Tonight while on the hangout paul gave me a hand (oo er) on panel line fading and drawing squiggly lines everywhere! right up my all LOL think he said its to make it look more faded or something when i paint over it
but its all ready for painting tomorrow now

SQUIGGLES!!!!

Nice one Wes.....
Never seen squiggle preshading before....

Great work, I'm liking the freehand camo painting, I think Paul does it that way as well.
Regards, Dave.
