Awesome, was just about to ask. Buying from your site would have changed a $130 GBP order to $270NZ. That's ouchie!!!!

Whoops, just checked and they dont do your thinner and cleaner and the sanding sticks are $15NZ as opposed to $10NZ if i bought direct from you. I'm guessing direct gives you a better margin too.

If they've got not thinner or cleaner it means they've sold out already...!!! Now that was fast!

And yes, we make a better mark up if bout direct ;)

Well im averaging about once a month but im sure im putting one of their kids through medical school or something.

Got a four figure order coming through sometime this week - i went a bit nuts recently...bought a FEW kits and diorama supplies....heh heh :wtf: - but you cant go past their clearance bin sales and the huge range of well, everything.

Oh and I think they're out of Ultimate stuff too (I bought thinners and cleaners) so it must be popular!

Twas very cool to see BNA stocking Ultimate stuff, just placed an order for some more sanding sticks. I wore out set on an Airfix Hurricane. Never had to use so much filler and plastic strip in one model.

I know what you mean Charles - Im building what is probably my last Airfix kit now, a gift from my brother a Mk 1 Spitfire, 1/48 - poor fit in the fuselage rear section and the nose and overall the detail is ok, but soft and nowhere near Tamiya type level.

I sold the rest of my Airfix stash but couldnt sell this one - I literally finished painting it 5 minutes ago, but probably wont get back to it until next week...

Yeh, some of them are terrible but others Like the 109trop are really nice. If you want something that's really horrible try an Italieri Tornado or that Airfix combo kit of a Jaguar and Tornado F.3 :eeek: . That just went in the bin.

Yeah actually the other gift my brother gave me was the Airfix 109E in 1/48 - that was a good kit all around, except the decals which sucked, I enjoyed it!

Ive also learnt to stay away from most of the Italeri aircraft except I really want the Short Sunderland which is supposed to be a good un.

I would love to try some but they've been out of stock for an awfully long time.

When are they getting more?

I'm also keen to pick some of the thinner up from BNA but as mentioned above, they are currently out of stock.
Could anyone tell me the shipping cost for a couple of bottles to New Zealand?
Cheers :th:

 vHow is it cheaper? When I factor in the pounds to Aud conversion and shipping it comes out a fair bit more expensive for me?

I'd love to buy direct and give you guys more profit but then I end up paying more?

My order through Ultimate direct is £84.43 (aus $164.55) inc shipping.

Through BNA Au$155.92 inc postage and that's with buying all the washes individually and not in a pack ( no. 6 pack on BNA) which converts to £6.54 each for a total of £39.24 for the washes alone compared to £24.99 on the Ultimate site.

I know this order is only $9 but without the massive blowout of the washes the difference would be far greater.

For example a bottle of thinner and cleaner shipped to my door from Ultimate is $77.92 aus compared to $47.53 from BNA

That's a whopping 64% more expensive
Sigh...

Hey mate, It's not actually cheaper as I buggered up the shipping cost. Shipping ended up £13.99 rather than the £7.99 I originally calculated.
Wouldn't be much in it though, I reckon if BNA charged me much more than $10AUD for shipping to me here in NZ it would be around the same overall cost. This was for 2 bottles of thinner.
Cheers

Inflation rearing its ugly head here - price went from $17AUD to $28AUD in just over a year.....

Its good stuff, especially the cleaner, but this is a bit pricey now!
