I have started work on the Hobbyboss 1/72 Mi-4 Hound.

I have built the cockpit. I gave all the parts a wash to bring out the details as well.

I really like this cockpit panel.

Thanks Antonio

More work done,

I have given the model a wash with vallejo black model wash. I also put the landing gear on.

I plan to keep the cargo bay open, and required some stock to keep in the bay. I made a pallete from some balsa wood, placed two barrels on it.

Filling in the gaps

Used a light grey vallejo wash for the underside

Used Balsa wood to star making a palette

Then made two barrels using Italeri Battlefield accessories set.

Morale for the men!

Then decided to scratch build a ladder

I painted it a metallic grey, but I think I should have gone with a wood colout. Might re-paint it tomorrow after I see how it looks then.

Will do some more work and hopefully finish this model in the coming week.

Sad day :(. I lost the decals for my S-Model 1/72 Gaz Jeeps.

Its just put a massive dent in my motivation.

In any case here are the pictures of my work for today. I have nearly finished the Mi-4 Helo. I am waiting on some acrylic paint so I can paint the canopy, as I never paint canopies with enamels - too many painful incidents.

We'll start with the Gaz jeep.

This is were I left it last. I have given it a vallejo model black wash.

Weathered it using Tamiya Weathering Master

Here is when I realised... I HAVE LOST THE DECALS..., went berserk and looked all over for them but to no avail.

Image

I will leave this as is, hoping that those decals turn up somewhere, otherwise will just use the spare decals from the Fuel Bowser Truck I built earlier.
