Is it OK...?

Post by Lee »

I've installed a new post promotion system that you will see on the left. Basically it's the the ranks of the US army. I had no preference for insignias or country (I almost went for Korea!) and it's not meant to mean anything or show any bias towards any country nor cause any offence, they were just the best looking set I could find after many, many hours of looking at bloody military insignias from around the world!

If any one really has a problem with using the US set, let me know and I'll take it down. I will keep searching for something different but, this provides 27 different classes to promote through, is instantly recognisable and were the best looking set I could find.

If any one could find a great Battle Star Galactica, Star Wars, Star Trek set or something similar and neutral that would be great. All the ones I found were utter rubbish....

Cheers :thumb1:

I thought that something was different.
Makes no nevermind to me. Thought BSG ranks would be cool.
I kinda liked the styrene lover system though.
But I'm weird.

It's a shame you can't have it as optional, like choosing army, navy or air force

No issues at all - it's all a bit of fun after all.
I have no idea what rank I am but it's a lot higher than I got in the Army or Police force that's for sure. :50: :boom:

I think you would get more complaints from Trekkies if it was Star Wars themed or vise versa

Good system. My goal is to get past Specialist... because that's what I was when I left the Army (right after the Civil War).
