wire cables/rope

Post by digger303 »

At your local fishing shop if you buy a spool of leader fishing line. This a stainless spun wire usually coated in plastic which is available in different kg ratings depending on the size fish you expect or HOPE to catch.
Now if you heat this until it becomes red hot burning all the plastic off in the process ( almost no smell ..promise ), there is very little plastic on it.
It becomes very soft and it has the exact same look as a real tow rope or cable and behaves in a similiar manner when bending to fit where you want it with little spring.
Cheaper than buying 20 different tow ropes for various kits.
