Decals

Its a shame that Tamiya don’t have a coloured scheme layout even though their supplied on a separate sheet.
SPRU’s

The cockpit looks to be really nicely detailed straight out of the box, with nearly 30 parts, so little need of an upgrade set? However unless you buy the “detailing parts” set you’ll have to either use a decal, make your own or buy some decent seat-belts, why Tamiya, and to be fair other manufactures, don’t supply either PE, fabric or decently moulded seat-belts is beyond me?
The engine is made from 5 parts and looks well detailed and with the addition of some lead-wire leeds and plumbing I’m sure will be more than acceptable.
To the rear of the cowling you have a choice of either open or closed flaps, the main cowling is a nicely moulded single piece, no seam-lines to clean up.
