Re: Steve's Stug III ausf B
Thanks guys. Oh I'm bed ridden so no chance of modelling. I have a booth and proper mask anyhoo but I really appreciate the thought.

Well xmas eve's painting episode didn't go to plan. Not sure what I'm going to do with the wheels if the paint peels off. More mud maybe

Is more mud ever the wrong answer?

Re: Steve's Stug III ausf B
Deadline passed but I did get some paint on. Used Tamiya German grey on chassis and vertical surfaces and dark grey on horizontal surfaces to give a variation of shadow and light. I also added a touch of white to dark grey and did some panel fading to break it up a bit. I'm quite happy with the result. It looks lighter in the photo due to my string cool desk lamp. I've added a blue grey filter over this. I think that went ok though I got a few streaks I had to rework. Tracks have had thier first weathering of a dark wash and AK dust deposits and powdered pigments. Think I ended up with more chunky mud in the tread that I was after.
