X Acto Replacement Safety Cap

Post by sheppsea »

Morning All,

I am trying to find a replacement cap for my X Acto No 2 handle knife, I recently bought the no 1 handle, which came with one but I don't remember my No 2 coming with one

I have got in touch with X Acto and apparently it isn't possible to buy replacment caps (which amazes me to honest) and although I have been able to find a alternative cap that will apparently fit, the only place I could find that sells it is based in the US and with shipping it would cost more than double than buying a new handle with the cap here in the UK.

Does anyone in the UK know of somewhere one can buy replacement caps here? I know its probably possible to make up a homemade cap, but the cap is actually the perfect shape in terms of how I store the knife and being able to grab it

Just for reference, there is a different brand that might work on Xacto brand knives.

Make your own:

Instead of just a cap you could have a stand/holder.
