BK117 D-2 Conversion 1.72nd

Post by Fran »

The work is based on the last update of the aircraft bk117-C2 passing to call Bk117-D2 which corresponds to a new update of the navigation and flight systems, providing better flight capacity and functionality. The test flight completed in December 2014 already has its homolagacion and the machine has a large order in its version H145 by an aircraft with great capabilities and qualities in both the civil and military sector whose version is identified as H145M.
My work is based on this project of updating and improving the aircraft. For the kit I've used the Revell EC-145 #04653 item and its more than half % scratch build work. I will just show a few pictures and will explain some of the allready done work in a while. Thanks for watching and I hope you like it!

Happy Modelling....

Ok, some images... :pop:
I have to say that model is not so bad. Generally the kit is not so bad, and the pieces fit quite well. It is a type of plastic that is allowed to work very easily. I like to scratch build all my projects and ideas, sorry! but I can´t just build OOB, as a mate said it.
The worst part its the clear ones, those are very bad and need to pay attention in order to get some realistic result. Most of the photos will talk by the photos are going to speak for themselves...but It will be a pleasure to explain or comment on doubts and advice. Lets see them...

Full open...with all doors and clamsheld detailed (Jesus, what a bad photos!!)

Marked principal panel lines and cover inperfections or just modifications of the basic kits...

detailed exaust holes..

Thanks mate!!.
Those seats are completed scratch built parts. I decided to changed them for a copy of the real Fischer Aerospace models. differents models for pilot/copilot and the flight mechanic...

Using Plus Model plastic sheet, green stuff and metal foil as also differents type of masking tape...
Original from the kit and the new scratch bulit one
