1/48 Italeri Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB Late

Just completed my third build , the Italeri Hawker Typhoon 1/48. Enjoyed the build but have found the two Tamiya models much easier than this Italeri.
Painted using the Vallejo RAF Air War set , this time I have painted on the invasion stripes after a nightmare trying to use decals on the P-47. I have also used Ultimate dark dirt wash to try to add some weathering although I was really unsure on how long to leave it on and how much to take off.

Apart from that really enjoyed it .. on to the next one .. Any feedback welcome.

Very nice. I have this in the stash and I've thought about painting the stripes on myself as they were only painted on roughly in reality and decals are just too sharp edged.

Yeah the decals don't look any good at all compared to painting them on. Although mine aren't the best they still way better than my P-47's decals.
