Revell 747-400 "Ed Force One"

Post by bfrd »

Here are some completed pictures. There is a progress post over in the Civil Aircraft section. I chose to not weather the aircraft, because I actually liked the way it turned out. I would have been a shame to ruin it on the last step. Perhaps the next build will get the full treatment. :D

I designed the stand to mimic the "Ed Force One" logo. Unfortunately, I am having issues getting a raster engraving (the text) and the vector cuts to line up on the machine. So as it stands (hee hee- pun intended) the text is missing.

As you well know, the Revell 747 isn't the best. I thought I screwed up the tail decal and ordered an aftermarket set. If you want to use a different kit I can send you the decal sheet.

Did you get your stand finished on this???
Love to see it with text.
Damn, I am resisting buying the kit again. Not the biggest Maiden fan, otherwise it would be mine
