Can you use Ultimate primers with Colour Matched Zero Paints?

Yes no problem at all , my last 5 car kits have been zero paints over Ultimate primer, just make sure you spray the zero paints in nice light thin coats

Just wanted to add, After a day or two messing around with the Ultimate primers I can see why they are loved... I LOVE THEM TOO!! They just dry out flat and smooth. Make me feel quite accomplished with an airbrush :dance:

Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good. :doh:

do they need normally to be sanded? i use other primers and sometimes i get some rough bits on it, or small thingies.

for metallics we should use the gloss Ultimate black primer correct?

I just ordered some gloss black from Ultimate. Even though I am in the states, I couldn't find a local source for that color.

You are always better to sand back a tad to make sure everything is smooth :cheers2:
