Resin parts

Post by GMahaffey »

Not a problem or a quesion on how to use Resin, but I had a thought. Why do companies leave the plug on the larger parts such as jet cockpit tub? Wouldn't it be easier for them to take those plugs off so that the harder part is done with. It would definitely be safer for them to do it than a average Joe doing it.

I suspect its cost, cutting the block off each large piece soon adds up, not to mention the waste when something goes wrong

Personally I don't think it would really make a difference to my modelling and I certainly wouldn't want to pay more for it - I find cutting the more delicate pieces off the block more of a nuisance anyway :)
