  Made a start on the Krote by making up the high velocity gun and turret. You are given the parts for a short barreled version as well in the kit but the HV gun looks more bad ass

I've always liked Machine Kreiger kits. This one though, it's a cut above all the others. Very very sweet looking kit!

Always like the ma.k kits it's just the price that puts me off a bit, for what you get in the box I think they are a little overpriced but I have built a few in the past and if the opportunity arose again I probably would do another lol but your doing a great job on this one 👍🏻

:th: Hi Dan Thanks for looking in and your comments :cheers2:

As for the kits there regarded in Japan as a niche model kit and not mainstream so they tend to do short runs and people buy 10 and stash them away and before you know it there selling them at twice the issue price. Also there really only produced for the Japanese market but some sellers just double the price and sell them abroad.

Anything that is deemed rare or in demand with short runs always allows the profitears to push prices up and im pretty sure were all guilty of paying the price for that must have kit at one time or another. :thumb2:

Looking at the engineer - a set of Balkan Kreuz wouldn't look amiss on this one :)
Its a really nice build and I think you were definitely wise to have gone for the longer barrel.

:cheers2: Hi Neil thanks for looking in and your comments :cheers2:

In the early days of Ma.K the baddy's were very much based on a mad mix of WW2 German/soviet forces that made up the Strahl Demokratische Republik quite a few of the first fighting suits like 'Conrad' are even armed with Panserfausts too. So your not far off with your observations. :thumb2:
