Tanmodel T-33 Shooting Star (1:72) Portuguese Air Force

Post by RicRodrigues »

Calling this one done!

That's a TanModel T-33 Shooting Star on a 1:72 scale. Markings are from the Portuguese Air Force and this is a special livery for the Portuguese Air Force 38th Anniversary and 65 000 Flying Hours.
This specific fighter (with the serial/tail number 1930) is retired from duty and is now in exposition on Sintra Air Base.

It's not my finest job and the build was haunted with decals and clear coat issues, but I'm happy with the final result.

Build Thread can be found on this link: Build Thread

Nice results on a not so easy paint scheme. I followed your build thread and glad to see you worked through the issues as it turned out really colorful!

Thanks for the feedback!

FAP stands for Forca Aerea Portuguesa (Portuguese Air Force), nothing to do with the english word!!
