Hi guys and girls,
I made the return to the hobby last Jan, after being away for near 30 years, due to family time and work.
I build mainly bikes with the odd car in the mix and starting back into AVF.
A lot has changed while I was away, so learning a few new tips and skill, an airbrush being one of them as everything used to be painted with the hairy stick.
Look forward to sharing work that has been done and the many projects that are underway.
I wish I had kept my old stash when I left, but it went to good home to someone just starting out.
Returning to the hobby.

Re: Returning to the hobby.
Hello and
to the ISM forum.
When you get a moment please check out the forum guidelines which can be found ---> here
We'd love to see your work & progress but in order to post photos you will need to host them on an external site such as Flickr and then link to them from the forum. Unfortunate the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.
There is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here
As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here
We'll also be running a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.
Otherwise take a look around and join in, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
Have fun!

Re: Returning to the hobby.
Welcome to the board!
I gave away my stash 22 years ago when my wife was pregnant with our first son and couldn't take the fumes. Some of those kits are worth a fortune now compared to what I paid for them but whatever. I've been back for a little over 2 years now!
Jump right in and be sure to show your work!
