Re: Meng tortoise wot sig gb
Filters should tone done most of that Russ. If you put the yellow on in layers it won't be so thick and the filters will have a better chance the blend everything. Same with that brown. Thin layers built up.
The contrast looks pretty freakin' good too. Nice work Russ.

OOh nice job dude.
As the master said Filter should help tone it all done.
Also amazing what some varnish can do to tone colours down.

Hi guys, I know it's early but if I don't stop messing with this now I'm going to ruin it, i present my offering to this group build

This build has been a big learning curve in painting and if I were to do it again I would do a lot differently

The diorama is very plain but i wanted it to reflect the flatness of the game on the screen, although ive never played it
i always chuckle at the wanton destruction of buildings and trees so tried to reflect that here

Thanks for allowing me to take part and for all your encouraging words throughout the build. ive really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing everybody elses interpretations ... thanks for looking guys
Cheers

HA!.
You nailed it Russ. That dio is exactly what I thought you were going for. Genius buddy!!
The minimalist effect mimics the computer graphic effect convincingly. Dude... you have some serious talent.
That camo was a bugger, it looks pretty freaking good, that yellow was a pain. You still pulled it off buddy!!
Many thumbs

P.S.
Don't forget, if you haven't already done so, to put your final reveal in the SiG Gallery & Final Reveals Dude
