'Ello!

Post by antonowski »

Hello everyone,

Just a quick hello, not been scale modelling for long but I have been building and painting for years. Currently have a couple of projects on the go at the moment which I'll be posting up when done. Currently building:
  • Tamiya Subaru Impreza '98 Monte Carlo WRC
    • Tamiya Subaru Impreza '02 WRC
      • Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRX STi - making a replica of my own car including some scratch built parts
I'm a 3D modeler in the games industry so I also spend my time 3D printing and replicating parts. I'm currently also modeling a Clio Sport 197 for my partner as I cannot find a kit anywhere!

Nice to meet you all, and hopefully I'll be posting some pictures soon!

      Cheers,

      Ant

Hello and :welcome: to the ISM forum Ant!

When you get a moment please check out the forum guidelines which can be found ---> here

We'd love to see your work & progress but in order to post photos you will need to host them on an external site such as Flickr and then link to them from the forum. Unfortunately the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.

There is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here

As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here

We're also running a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.

Otherwise take a look around and join in, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Have fun!
Cheers, Neil

Hi Ant and welcome to the forum.

I am interested in your models and real car. I have been looking at purchasing a mostly stock STI from a fanatic friend of mine. I like the sound, power, steering feel and the four wheel pull out of the corners...

Glad to have you with us....

Ben
