Hey from Connecticut, USA

Post by Squawking1200 »

Haven't built a model since I was ten. New Covid hobbies are the best! Looking forward to advice and techniques.

You'll find a few things have changed in the model world. Prepare to be amazed.

As for the forum, get stuck in, post your work and get commenting on the builds. All good fun
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Hello and :welcome: to the ISM forum Dan.

When you get a moment please check out the forum guidelines which can be found ---> here

We'd love to see your work & progress but in order to post photos you will need to host them on an external site such as Flickr and then link to them from the forum. Unfortunately the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.

There is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here

As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here

We also run a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.

Otherwise take a look around and join in, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Have fun!
Cheers, Neil
