Magnetic (jewelry) Tumbler Polisher

Post by Twokidsnosleep »

Got this New toy in January and just tried it out this rainy Saturday after finishing a certain motorcycle build
Image

Magnetic tumbler spins around hundreds of stainless steel pins, bombarding the surface of metal and polishing it
It is noisy as hell😱

Tried it out on some white metal parts from a MFH kit gifted to me by a certain awesome bud who shall Matthew remain anonymous. I mean mostly remain anonymous
One of these bits is not like the others

This was less than 10 min in the bath

Makes a noticeable difference in a short period of time. The recommended polish time is 30 mins
Happy with this purchase :thumb2:

I have a slightly larger version for cleaning brass cases. The SS pins do wonders, even cleaning the primer pockets.

How do you store the pins once used ?
Keep them wet, dry them off??

Just pour the lot through a sieve to get rid of the water, give it a shake then dump the pins back in the tumbler
