Hello…………again!!!

Post by alextheblue »

Not so much an introduction, more of a re-introduction. Joined the forum a good few years ago and like a lot of people, drifted away from the hobby as everyday life got in the way. Never put the modelling stuff away though, just let the dust slowly gather, always with the intention of getting back into it. The other day I decided to have a clean up and after a couple of hours the bench was operational again!!

The next thing to do of course was to check the forum! Great to see a lot of the old faces still lurking (haven’t you reprobates got anything better to do!! :th: :th:  ) as well as a ton of new people I can’t wait to meet.

I’m mainly a tank builder, but have been lead astray by the good people at ISM to dabble with wingy things as well. Theres some of my builds on the forum, but quite frankly, it’s not worth the time searching for them and I’ll be posting and getting involved again when time allows.

Looking forward to getting stuck back in again. Now, what GBs and SiGs are coming up…………………..

Thanks Stokesy! :th:

There’s no deprogramming powerful enough to remove knowledge of ISM :th: :th:

Perhaps you were welcomed back by the force? It can be a strong influence you know.

Or it could've been a Matrix kind of thing?

I know exactly what your referring to when speaking about the ability of other members leading us down strange paths to other modeling subjects, especially with this Group Builds. Honestly, I've found the journey quite refreshing and fun, but I'll most always be a car guy at the core.

Regardless, welcome back, glad to have you here.
