BF109-E4 1/32 Eduard

Post by cor »

For some reason I needed to build a 109.
Eduard Profipack, which included some nice pe bits. Overall a very nice kit.

This represents Adolph Galland around 1940 during the Battle of Britton.

There is an electric motor in it so the prop spins, I couldnt help myself. The stand has a clear base, I just taped some plastic on the bottom so it wont get scratched.

That's a real nice 109 I only hope I can do as well when I get around to building one. I have a larger Eduard version to do , but I would really like to try a 1/48 as well since they have such a sterling reputation.

EDIT......
Obviously the brain wasn't taking any advice from the optical cortex.....Why I thought it was a 1/48 I dunno... :bash:

The eduard 109 was a great kit. Wing root fit a bit off, but everything else what you want a kit to be. The profipack also has all the detail up bits, so end result is a really good kit.

I enjoyed the 1/32 experience so much I bought a new release revell mustang soon after. Quick, easy builds that give a great experience and a nice model at the end.

Nice job! Was the motor one designed for the kit, or one you repurposed?

Thanks
The motor was a DIY job. The kit is not designed for a motor.
