
Here is my effort with the new(ish) Eduard 1:48 Wildcat FM-1/Marlet MkV ProfiPACK kit.
I added a couple of “extras” Brassin exhausts and wheels.

I’d planned this as a “quick build” which took a couple of weeks longer than I expected however if/when I build another of these kits I’ll take my time more, especially with the engine mount and landing gear, I “rushed” this part of the build and didn’t get as good a fit as I’d of liked, totally my problem if I’d taken more care/time I’m sure the fit would have been exceptional.
Due to my impatience I also “messed up” removing the carrier film from the wing roundels, once again if I’d left them for a longer period, I only left them for 4 hours I should have left them for 24!, luckily I had a some Montex masks that could be used to “over paint” the ruined roundels.
