Hello from Epoxy Sniffer
Hi All
I like to stay anonymous on the internet so I will just go under the name of Epoxy Sniffer and say that I am located in some far flung corner of the North East of Scotland.
I am in my forties now but like most of you I made models when I was a lad and have recently rediscovered modelling. So I am another amateur building purely for fun and not a rivet counter.
I fell back into this by accident. I gave my nephew a 1:700 Airfix Titanic for his birthday but it was a bit beyond him so I ended up building it for him and found out I was enjoying myself immensely.
Though it turned out that the kit was also a bit beyond me too as I have yet to finished it …. I am almost there though.
I am interested in trying my hand at all subjects including aircraft, sci-fi, figure painting, armour, ships and cars and look forward to dabbling in all these areas.
Currently I am working on the Airfix Titanic, the 1/72 Airfix Airacobra and a 1/35 plastic crusader knight figurine I found in my loft. I will post some pictures of these if I ever managed to finish them.
By the way and I don’t just sniff Epoxy I also like the smell of Tamiya acrylics ….. does that make me weird?
Look forward to chatting with you all, sharing tips and seeing your completed kits.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum Snifer, though I personally can't stand the smell of Tamyia acrylics, you certainly won't be alone here.
Good to have ya!
