Micro Brushes

Post by Waylander »

Hi Just wondered if anyone had used these before. The are throw away Microbushes and can be used for paints, glues and putty. The are great for painting canopy's and details on figures and cockpits.

I use the micro for C.A. and when the brush is Dried and harden I twist it off and keep using it as C.A. Applicator !

I love them... but they are costly here... 11$ for a big box I find it very useful thou !

and yes I use the bigger ones for quick paint jobs that don't require... too much scrutiny

Later and thanks for posting this!

I use one for cleaning out my airbrush, works quite well getting into the nozzle and getting rid of the gunk

I bought 3 packs of these but I am the sort, that even though they are throwaway, I don't have the heart to use them. lol Over here in the USA they are about $1.80 a pack of 10 (about 1.20 UK pounds) But for now they are still sealed up - guess I'll have to use them one of these days. lol

Cheers

I have 3 or 4 boxes of them in one of my drawers, I've honestly never found a use for them. I thought it was a good idea at the time.
I use other tools for all the things that these are supposed to do.
I'm not a fan of throw away tools anyway.

Don't forget those were initially intended for Dentist !

They just found their way into our World !

Lucky us ! I am very rough on my paint brushes.... so I don't mind sacrificing a few
cheap disposables when it saves me time !

its the beauty of a Free world.... :cheers2:

as for cleaning airbrushes... ? get them all.... there are Blacks,Green,Yellow and White ! paint brush to micro applicator I think ??? and at 2 or 3$ per sample packs.... you will soon find out which ones you prefer ! I like the greens and Whites ! for what I use them for....

I find the boxes last me maybe 6 months if I don't over indulges ! LOL
and those are the big 11$ boxes...
