Re: who won
Gentlemen,
Here are a few possible solutions to the problem.
!: Pick the top 100 answers and have them do another caption contest.
2: Take a list of the entrants to the local pub and have darts thrown at the list in an elimination type manner. Eliminating one name each round.
3: Lay a large grid square out with one name in each square, and then have an animal wander around the square until it has to answer a call of nature. The person who's name is in that square where it first hits, wins.
4: Put each name on a rubber ducky and float them down the Thames river. First one to the end wins.
5: Take all the names to the local pigeon racing society and put one name on each pigeon. First one back wins.
6: Do it cottage industry style. Split the kit up and send it to different people to put that part together. The last person gets to put it all together and keep it.
7: Chain letter style. Send it to the first person on the list who does one small part, then sends it to the next. Etc, etc, etc. Last one gets to keep it.
8: Keep doing it how you are doing it.

I do not envy your task here Lee and Paul.....
The choosing of a winner out of so many top quotes and one liners must be impossible...
Good luck ....

Re: who won
If it helps in the decision making process, the kit is way too big for me - I don't have the space to stash it, build it or display it. Not that I think I'm in with a chance of winning it but please withdraw my entry. Merry Christmas to you all!

Coen, I agree with you on how to free up space, believe me.
Lee and Paul, here is another suggestion. We all get online with skype and do a rock, paper, scissors competition.
