Just thought I'd pop a short intro post to say Hi and thanks for providing a hopefully safe place where I can have all my silly questions answered, and maybe though the process of my enlightenment cause others to do so as well.
After doing Airfix, Matchbox and some Revell kits as a kid back in the 80's real life kinda caught up with me for a few years. On a whim bought a 1:24 Spitfire Mk1 on a trip to duxford and then kinda spent 10 years very much off and on doing it.
Earlier on last year I was determined to make the best job of it I could(seeing as it had taken me so long to get around to it) and thus the modelling bug bit me once more.
So been lurking these and other forums for a while now, viewing all the reviews and tips on the ISM youtube and spending way too much money on kits I'm too scared to do in case I bodge it and waste the money.
Anyway, this is me and hope to bug you later with obvious (to you) questions
