There you go. This is actually the one that you can see in my vid.. It is rather cheap at roughly 35€ for a Dragon kit and it fell together.
Thanks for this, I quite like the dragon models.

No no we are doing this SiG trough ISM Lee and Paul said they give us a own forum to run the SiG in !
This means this runs here just like a normal ISM SiG or GB and there is no need for a YT channel.

All we would need from you are pictures of your unbild kit and then some progress pictures

And at the end a couple of reveal pictures from different angles so we wil be able to see the complete kit from al sides

Hey you guys! Can I still join this SiG? I'm all new to this forum and I couldn't find anything about the rules for this group build or anything. Can anybody please help me out here and explain the basics to me? I have my first Revell Panther V Ausf. D in 1/35 scale finished and plan on displaying it in a nice little diorama. Can I use that as my entry, or would I have to start a completely new Panther build? I'm pretty excited about this topic because the Panther is such a butt-kicking tank and I think it provides excellent choices for the scale modeller.

Yes you can still join as the SiG will start the 1st of june!
No you cant use your finnished model that would be unfair and against the rules :thumb1:

the way it is ment to go is : at the first of june you will start a forum tread on the SiG forum here on ISM and you will need a NEW kit so unstrated !
You need to post pictures of the unstarted kit on you tread so we are able to see that it IS unstarted.
And then in the allowed time you`ll have to keep us up to date by way`s of posting pic`s on your tread here on ISM or uploading build vid`s on YouTube ... that one is up to you!

you can find it all here to:

Sci-Fi Special Interest Group Build Guidelines

Objective: Build and share any subject in any guise pertaining to Sci-Fi. This can include any space, air, land, sea, civilian or test subjects from any future era, or any past or present Sci-Fi related TV show, film or book. As long as it was classed as Sci-Fi when it was released, it's allowed

Special Interest Group Build Guidelines...

1. Any subject from the Sc-Fi genre, from any past or present Sci-Fi related TV show, film or book.
2. Any kit manufacturer
3. Any scale
4. Anyone can join regardless of skill level
5. There is no restriction on material or any after market products.
6. Scratch building is allowed.
7. After market decal sets are allowed.
8. All kits MUST be in unstarted condition - no exceptions (damaged while in transit sprue parts are allowed).
9. All entries must have a build thread in this SiG forum area for the entry to be valid.
10. A progressive build thread must be posted - which must include sprue and box shots, regular picture and/or video updates with comments on hints & tips - by sharing your build progress others can learn.

If you're not sure of anything then please PM myself, Paul or Jim (Bagpiper), we're here to help.

Word of interest...........AVOID THIS KIT
Its has allot of fit issues, almost through mine in the bin
Image

The engine deck did not fit on the hull, too big and also the deck where the two hatches are for the driver and radio operator had to be re sized to fit and all the bolt detail redone.

i build the panther ausf. a by revell once
it was my first tank ever (started with planes)
and that one didn't have any fit issues at all
but ausf. d panthers are the only type i don't have so i don't know about that
plus most of my panthers are dragon kits so that explains a lot i think they make real good panthers

i do not completly agree some of the older kits have fit issues or real crappy instructions
but with the kit they made in the past 5 or 6 years i didn't have that problem
just a misslabeled part in the instruction in some kits or unclear instructions
but most kit they make "kick ass" sort of speak

My stash is 15 kits (only paid for 2 of 'em haha   ), 6 are half-built, 2 are birds and one's a sub so I won't be building those guys any time soon. I'd call it "diminutive". I don't have any doubles or triples anyways... ;)

Hey everyone.

I am going to enter this one.

To be brutally honest, I'm not sure this tank model ever really existed. I just saw the kit in the hobby store while I was looking for something special for this, and there it was. I liked it for the figures you get with it and its unique look.

I'll do some research later on.

well timmy let me.help with the research
this version of the coelian was a paper panzer so it was not build
the are several versions of the coelian
there is this one with the twin 3.7 cm guns
a version with twin 5.5 cm rapid firing guns
and a version with a single 5.5 cm gun
and that last one was the first version they where going to complete as there was a wooden replica turret of that one
just to.make sure it would all fit on the tank
the others where further behind in the development process
but where defenetly planned to go in to production
i found this info when i was building my coelian
it is a cool kit to make but i would get some aftermarket gun barrels for it because the flash hiders on the kit barrels are solid and are very hard to drill out
hope this helps you in.your search
cheers Mark
