I've got this kit in my stash and its the camo version for me as well Lee. Don't know about the overwing tanks though, might leave them off. Warren Blanch did the grey and red livery, turned out nice, check out his you tube vid.

Oh and if any of you were wondering whats happened to Warren his missus has had a baby so he is taking some time out. Told me he will be back in his shed and on you tube soon.

Though I couldn't help wincing a bit that you bought another Airfix kit really hope this one goes together well.

Great review of one of my all time favourite kits, made 7 of them. It does go together well but take care on:
The circular inlet needs a little work to blend with fuselage.
The guns are a little shallow for the cut out
The placement of the U/C linkage is a bit vague in the instructions.

Other then that. It's a blast.

On the bench, Urm a lot.....

Great Review Lee, of a great kit. The only heads up I can give you is once completed it's very unsteady on it's pins. Also you mentioned you were going to paint the orange flashes good call they were a pain to get right on the tail planes.

Mine has pride of place in the Lounge room, one of the very few.

cheers
