And Another New Member

Hi All from Chesterfield

Have been checking out ISM for some time now and I thought it's time to sign up.
I have been modelling for a while, but nothing serious, still finding my ways around things.
Like the construction more than painting (probably lack of experience on the painting side... :roll: )
But I get there.
Some of the videos from Paul are inspiring for someone like me, it all looks so easy... :th:

Hello Dirk and welcome to ISM, there are many of us here just learning also as the hobby has really moved on recently, and the tools more affordable, its great seeing how other guys build and pose their model kits, lots of inspiration here to look at.

:welcome: I too found my way here from Paul's youtube vid. It was his Corsair that inspired me. I only have a few kits under my belt too, but in a few days I will subject everyone here to their brilliance :oops:

Hi Dirk, :welcome: to ISM!

I also used to prefer the construction, but after being on the forum for a while and getting loads of advice on painting and weathering, I actually prefer this side of it now.
