I'm brand new to scale modeling, having only 3 months of experience so far. I am mainly focused on World War II and Korean War era aircraft, but not on any particular nationality. Naturally, I gravitated toward YouTube to learn some basic techniques, and that is how I found ISM!
At the beginning of February, I joined Charlotte Scale Modelers, the IPMS chapter here in Charlotte, NC. Lots of experienced 1/48 aircraft guys!

Thanks, HistoryRider! I think it will be. Paul's Aircraft Modelling Techniques were some of the first tutorials on modeling aircraft I ever found.
