how did you make the platform?

Hey thomo.

I used 6mm mdf, scribed the lines then using grey car primer spayed it, I then post shaded the lines with my airbrush and added,some different tones of grey to the overall colour. Then using mig washes I added some oil spills and finally, using various grass particles (train layouts) and pva I added the grass

Thankyou for that Paul, i really liked the way you did the weathering and applying the wash. Weathering has always been a grey area for me but the way you explained it has cleared that up for me now and i think i might be ready to give it a try.

im just in awe of your modeling skills Paul, and they say men can't multi-task, certainly not true, i admire how you can chat about the build work on it and keep the camera in the right spot.
