1/48 Tamiya Fw-190D-9 from 7/JG.301

Post by wally »

Hello Folks

This my latest finished build for this SIG. Tamiya 1/48 Fw-190D-9. I choose markings from Kagero monographs from 7/JG.301 flown by Fw. Hagen Foster in spring 1945. All aircraft was painted using Tamiya paints using own mix to get RLM 76/82/75 colors. For this build I add PE parts for the cockpit, resin exhaust and metal gun barrels. For weathering I used oil dark wash from MIG productions and weathering pigments from Tamiya sets. I also add for the first time chipping using artist silver pencil. I happy with the results. For the decals I choose markings from other Fw-190 kits and Kagero decals. So this it I hope you will like it. :th:

Great FW 190 ! Great job on that .I'm finishing building a FW 190 , but the A8/R2 version , also from Tamiya in 1/48scale , this A8/R2 has the radial engine and it is a version that was created to strike :bash: on Bombers formations , great firepower , heavy armored ...

My opinion is that you really did a very nice work on that model , it is a plane that I like a lot ! :thumb2:
Cheers ,
António
