do NOT mix bluetac and white spirit!!!!

The cockpit of my 109 is masked with normal masking tape. However, to aid handling there was also a blob of bluetac in there as well.

I have just done an oil wash and noticed a white sticky substance around the cockpit. It appears that white spirit melts/disolves bluetac. It came off with lots of brushing with more spirit but took ages to get off my hands.

If you get that kind of residue on your hands again, try using WD40 to help wash it off.
