I used to work near the Lebanon Airport in New Hampshire on Technology Drive, and once a week, A10's would circle half a dozen times and "dive-bomb" the airport with practice runs...they were also escorted by two F-16's.....it was awesome to see them every week. These though, were in the grey colors.

Nice job, mate.....I've always liked this aircraft and wanted to model one, but, it seems I've always forgotten to add it to my order list when I place new orders! I must remember the next time?!!

Cheers,

Martin

I used to see A-10's doing live fire exercises in the late 70's/early 80's about 15-20 miles from my Grandparents house. They would fly along the East coast of Yorkshire, turn inland at Hornsea when the pilots saw Hornsea Mere, then South again to just North of Withernsea, and turn out to sea where there was a live fire range.

I used to see them in the firing dive and hear the GAU-8 about 30-40 seconds later.....Awesome sound
