Coen wrote:Like I said on the channel.
The thanks should go to you to guys for all the incredibly hard work as sacrifice that you've put into the community by building this forum.
Without you fellas it wouldn't have happened and without your vision it would be a different thing all together.
You guys should keep all those goodies (except for that valentine.....;)

Seriously though... a Big thank you from me to you two dudes.
You're tops in my books.!!!
:th: :th: :th:
I've only recently joined the site, and considering the amount of members and content on both the forum and the Youtube channel, I was shocked when I found out that ISM was celebrating only it's first birthday. Like Coen mentioned, the thanks should go to the two of you. Not only for building the forum, but also for all the other work you're putting into the community. I imagine that producing the youtube video's, judging GB and SIG entries and all the other stuff are seriously eating into your own modelling time. Yet whenever there is a competition or a prize draw, you always exclude yourselves. Maybe just this once those prizes should go to the two of you. You certainly more than deserve it.

Cheers: :cheers2:

After I had a stroke last February and was left with a blind spot. I was forced on a medical leave and was getting depressed. I started modeling more and more at first to help me learn how to adapt to my lack of full vision. In October I found this forum and joined. I liked the style of this forum no one has a bad question and someone is always ready to help with a problem. Living in a rural area I don't have any other modelers to talk with. This site gives me a place to show what I am doing and get to see some fantastic work from around the world.

To Lee and Paul, Thanks guys I am looking forward to the next year. :th:

Happy 1st anniversary ISM! Thank you for creating such a good community. Really appreciate you both putting time and energy into such a cracking site.

Over the year I've enjoyed looking through the forums. Even though I haven't started my first kit yet but I have learnt so much info and tips of what's good etc. I got my Airbrush, compressor, glue and more by reading through what different members suggest. Whenever I needed info, members were ever so kind to help and that's why this place is special to me.

Oh also I'm in on this great prize draw! Can't thank you guys more than enough for the prizes that your giving away.

Here's to another great year at ISM.

Well done guys.

You'll both go down as legends of the hobby, if not for creating the forum, then for that prize haul. You should be really proud for the service your providing, creating a place for young modellers as well as old modellers returning to the fold. I can see a bright future ahead with an expansion to the Ultimate range, as well of course a monthly magazine (e-mag or old school), but I guess this is what news show is.

Congratulations, and look forward to more years of membership.

Cheers

As many of the modellers on here are probably like myself and are members of other forums, there is a certain welcoming feeling that I get when I login to ISM, something new every time and none of the stuffiness that seems to reside on the other forums, don't get me wrong I will still visit other places but I'll call ism home, thanks lads and here's to another year.

Ps, I'm in.
