hehe.. no I just meant that when you put decals on any kit it just looks so cool afterwards! Your decals on that bird makes it look great!! No painkillers for me, but being that I just had oral surgery last week, I wish I had some!! lol

Didn't get photos as they was no real difference between this stage and the last stage, apart from being a tad more shiny now

I really need to bring my F-14 build back from the shelf! As always the painting stage has sapped my motivation...

Can't get to my last job until 1539 this afternoon, so a good excuse to come home and spend some time at the bench!

A dirty bird

I am going to keep her fairly clean.... I would imagine being the CAG's plane she would have been kept almost immaculate

Thanks guys

As to the minimal weathering. I've been told that the 70's era tomcas had a gloss to semi gloss finish that made them extremely easy to keep clean compared to the low viz birds

That and she is the CAG's bird so I would imagine her crew chief kept her immaculate for the boss

Look stunning the details are awesome and weathering perfect

Just do your pics with a background sheet of blue and a concrete grey base..they can be paper or fabric or whatever, just clean and smooth.
Less distractions in the background make for more realism and let us focus on the model...not the stain on the desk.
I don’t want to know what that is
