I hope not, I only bought it last week! I was previously using a canned propellent - if that was higher than the recommended PSI, may that have been what supported getting it through?

Thanks for the response :)

if you are serious about using ALCLAD Lacquers
you should get their own brand of Primers... They are thin and designed to work with their own line of products.

Good luck.

It works perfectly, i used it under my last bike build bodywork using lacquer zero paints with perfect results and used it on the NSR500 with alclads, extreme metals and mr hobby super metallics so with enamels and cellulose/lacquer paints no problem :)

Like Paul, I've used it under many different types of paint without any problems.

Ultimate primer is good stuff.

I just purchased a Mr Hobby Procon Boy 0.5 needly airbrush and the primer clogs up. If I use it with my 0.3 Iowata then it sprays well when neat.

I added a bit of Ultimate thinner for the 0.5 Procon Boy airbrush and it then sprays fine, no problems.

Just airbrush characteristics I suppose.

So, just add a bit of Ultimate thinner and problem goes away.

I'm very pleased with my new Procon and the Ultimate black primer has gone down a treat on 1:200 scale HMS Hood!

Hi Paul have just looked at Ultimate site, they do 60ml primer in Black/White/Gray, but Olive & Gelb are 120ml will it ever come out in 60ml? if not will you have Olive & Gelb 120ml at the Telford show on Saturday.
