TARANGUS 1/48 saab 91 Safir B/C/D

Post by gaz45 »

This will be a short review as there is no much in the box for this 1/48 scale aircraft.

The box art looks really nice with 3 variations on the back of the box.

Everything is in 1 bag.

First impression nice looking kit with some very nice detailing especially the instrument panel which the is no decals for the interior.
There is also no numbers for the parts on the sprue so this will be interesting.

The clear parts are very clear with no distortion.

Very nice decals but all for the outside of the aircraft.

Image

Instructions a nice leaflet size.

Image

First page shows a numbered sprue map which will be very useful when building as there are no numbers on the actual sprue.
Also there is no make of paint for the callouts.

Overall a very nice kit with easy to follow instructions once you identify the parts and decided what paints you are going to use.

Sweet! Looking forward to this build! If you're interested, Maestro models produces masks, PE-sets and decal sets for this aircraft if you want something more "exotic" :) Good luck with your build!
