Out of comfort zone GB vids.

Hi,

I have joined the Out of your comfort zone group build hosted by Hamilkar Barkas & Russ Gosselin on Youtube.

The idea was to build something you either have never felt comfortable (e.g. specific genre, scale or maybe material - like resin) or have never built before.

As a subject I chose ships. I'm very interested in Pacific Theatre of Operations during WWII, especially naval operations, so in theory it should be obvious I should explore this genre in modelling... But I've never did, well actually I built few ships looong time ago, but without painting and since then I considered it as too difficult, irritatingly small and so.
But as Michael & Russ called to arms I said, damn ... it's time to meet my "fears" on battlefield :)
So I decided to go for 1:700 Tamiya Imperial Japanese Navy destroyer Shimakaze as a test dummy and same scale, same company British battleship HMS Prince Of Wales. For 'main entry' I also used aftermarket brass guns for primary & secondary armament.
