Hi all. I was given a 1:72 Lightening starter set by my wonderful wife today, so would like to enter with that if thats ok. Pics to follow. Will be mainly OOB but not using the included paints, think i will stick to vallejo.

It's an iconic aircraft, I fully understand why you have chosen it.

I built the F.6 version recently and there are some tricky parts where you have to make use of your modelling skills
But it's worth it - the aircraft is fantastic.

Thanks for the heads up, i have read your build post and can see that my kit has most of the same issues, thanks for the advice mate, appreciated. As for modelling skills, lol i dont have any so should be an interesting build .

Sorry for the lack of updates, started new job and things have been hectic to say the least (hence missing the end of the in the navy build as well) hope to get some updates posted this weekend now that things are a bit more settled.
